Dr. Jonny's "How to increase the THC of your Harvest"
This is a tutorial on how to increase the THC of marijuana by using water curing. I also show you how to build a Bud-Dry-er that will dry the water cured bud in 8 …
While it will not increase your THC volume, the percentage increase because the crap leaches out. Check out how I do it with a TDS tester. The reason you don't see it commercially is that weight equals money and who would pay $400 for an ounce?
I wouldn't believe any of this without testing to prove the TH levels. But I can tell you this the best way to dry out herbs is dry them in a humid environment with air circulation in a shaded or dark room for a week or more then jar them up and age them but periodically burp the jars in case there is too much moisture in them. The smell the flavors we'll be out of this world. After you do this process couple weeks you can age stuff if you want to do that. I can foods alot of things and I cook with thyme. When cured slow so that the stuff dries green the aroma is just out of this world. If I force it dry with heat or in the dryer it is not the same.
The decarboxylation process from thca (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid or its plant state) to thc is the material or bud loosing / releasing a carbon molecule from it. How successful the process is depends on immediate atmospheric condition and time. The oxygen in our atmosphere is oxidizing everything from us to steel causing it to rust. It is a breakdown from exposer. In commercial application fertilizers and insecticides are widely used deeming this process for the retail consumer of low grade Shawg / anything with little bag appeal legit effectively removing anything water soluble literally washing your material. However anything on the higher quality 14% +(that to you is top shelf herb) really isn't worth it due to the loss of favor. An taste is very important to most as far as having a bold smoke. Also would be helpful for edibles favor wise. In summary water curing in comparison to the normal drying process is no better by current standards. Trimming your plants fresh lollipopping the buds and hanging them with small pieces of vegetation not the whole plant just the buds will dramatically increase the end result quality. This I know.
Hi, just wondered can you still do this after you've already dried the buds and been curing in mason jars for 3 days? i had to cut my baby early she started moulding on the very top cola and on one of the side bud so was told to cut her down but didn't get a chance to flush her properly!! I did the burn test and her ash is black! Its only been 3 days curing will it get better in mason jars? Is it to late to try water curing the buds? Any help would be great!! This was my first ever try at growing my own weed!
Trim dry for week put in brown paper bag in freezer for 2 days til the resin glands freeze then put carefully in a jar for two weeks open everyday for about five minutes but that is all, you do this your smoke will get you so high you'll be hallucinating.
Hate to tell you but water curing does not raise the THC level. All water curing does is leech out the chlorophyll and any nutrient residuals that are still in the bud. Water curing does make for really smooth smoke though but does jack crap for THC.
a good way to get rid of the chlorophyll…I dono about your curing process though. I'd prefer to do it the long way. Does this water thing you do take away from the taste of the bud?
welldone u morons water cure WTF is going here problaly the first day of water cure will be in terrefick mildew few moths growing it 1 day to fuck up alll that weed but i still lafgh prety hard
Thing that people don't get even watching the video is you can't increase thc in cannabis. Though, you can prevent your plants from losing potency, you can't increase it once the grow is done.
good tutorial but you dont mention this also removes the flavor and smell from your bad not necessarily a bad thing for stealth toking or rolling in cigarette papers
Excuse me?Im not talking about growing I am talking about this method of curing. Its a great method if you want smooth hits and dont care about how the bud looks. But its not going to MAKE thc,the water will get rid of lots of matter and there will be more thc per gram but less weight. But I prefer drying and curing the good ol fashion way.Half of the fun is having wonderfully manicured, potent smelling awesom looking buds.I honestly think growing is more fun then smoking!
Found the moron…
This is only good if your making wax…..if u want better bud u definitely shouldnt be trying to dry it in 8 hours 🤷🏾♂️
did you mean .8" larger than the box? lol
I just grow good weed and cure it right lol no need for bull shit like this the longer the cure the more smooth the smoke
Water curing, buds under a light … boy, you've got to love the internet
Dude i love your name lmfao
Sift your sugar leaves/ small buds and sprinkle
I pee on my plants once a week. Works!

the highest thc potency is under 30% thie vid sais over 30% this is a scam lol
This just shrinks the buds after it's dried so that there are more crystals per weight it doesn't increase thc it decreases size and eliminates smell
yeah and peanut butter gets gum out of your hair.

Btw do NOT put light on your plants take the build out of your freezer light kills off thc KEEP DRYING BUD AND CURING BUD IN DARK SPACES

use r/o water if you can, which you can.
why not use a dehydrator?
Water curing is a old west indian way of curing weed, trust me you dont lose any flavour!
Are you stoopid!

No… flushing is when you are flushing out nutrients you give to your plants. Thats why it's called flushing
since when has the word THAN changed to THEN?…. i see it everywhere and it really pisses me off
to stupid to even reply
thats what flushing is supposed to do
dry first and then water cure?

yes because u can feed the plants up to harvest time instead of flushing. making more thc smart one
Heads up if you like Vaping. This makes the herb taste horrible.
This is no good if you are selling, it makes the bud lighter but it keeps the same thc ratio.
Its impossible for it to INCREASE the thc,the thc is exactly the same its just that there is less matter.
